Day 1
Arrival | Taichung
Arrival transfer/Taichung.
Ni Hao! Greet and meet at the airport by your private guide and driver. You will be
transferred to the capital city, Taipei.If time available (early flight arrival), we will
add some destination visit such as local night market or the historic Lin Family
Mansion. Overnight in Taichung.

Day 2
Taichung
Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. Today you will make your way to Taichung.
Discover Taichung city, your first stop will be the Rainbow Village, near the bullet
train station – an old military housing that was turned into a beautiful set of
colorful village. Next stop will be the Wufeng Lin Family Garden. One of Taiwan
heritage building owned by a renaissance family. Visit the National Taichung
Theater and see the majestic architecture where most of Taiwan’s performances is
held in. Have a relaxing afternoon in Miyahara Eye Clinic, a well-known restored
building previously used by an ophthalmologist during the Japanese colonial
period. Today, it is famous for its uniquely flavored ice-creams and the beautifully
packed pastries (on own expenses). Check in the hotel and refresh. Rest of the
night is free on your own. Overnight in Taichung

Day 3
Taichung
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today you will make your way to the heart of Taiwan:
Sun Moon Lake.
Today you’ll visit the highlights of Sun Moon Lake : Wen Wu Temple and walk to
the top of Tse En Pagoda, overlooking the beautiful lake view. Take a shared motor
boat ride along the lake. Take the cable car and enter Formosan Aboriginal Village.
Get to know the local aboriginal tribe’s life style and culture and enjoy the blossom.
Also enjoy the aboriginal music and dance performance, and the amusement park facilities (no extra charge). Check in the hotel and refresh. Rest of the night is free
on your own. Overnight in Taichung

Day 4
Taichung – Tainan – Kaohsiung
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Say good bye to Taichung and head for the former
capital city of Taiwan, Tainan.
Drive to the city center and visit the building complex now known as Chihkan
Tower. Visit Anping District, the first thing you might notice is the Anping Fort or
previously known as Fort Zeelandia, built by the Dutch East India Company
between 1624 and 1634. Continue your exploration to the crooked Anping Old
Street, known for its fresh street food, you can also shop antiques and souvenirs
and also discover some ancient temples around the area.
In the afternoon and take a shared boat ride to see the mangrove, the wild birds,
oyster farms and the traditional ways to catch fish.
Check-in to the hotel and refresh. The rest of the day is free and easy on your own. Overnight in Kaohsiung

Day 5
Kaohsiung
Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit Foguanshan Monastery and
Buddhist Memorial Hall and see the giant Buddha.
Visit Lotus Lake area, you’ll see the eye catching Dragon & Tiger Pagoda; Spring &
Autumn Pavilion. You’ll see the colorful and eye catching statue and get to know
the stories behind. It’s interesting to walk into dragon’s mouth and exit from the
tiger’s and get to know the “teaching” shown inside.If time available, explore Pier-2
Creative Park and see the eye catching outdoor artistic display. Check in to the
hotel and refresh. The rest of the day is free and easy on your own. Overnight at Kaohsiung

Day 6
Kaohsiung
Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. Visit Wutai Village in the Central Mountains,
average 1000 meters above sea level, the home to Rukai Tribe. The village carries
the nickname “Home of the Clouds”, so you can imagine it’s the village sits among
the clouds. Photo stop in Gu-Chuan Bridge and Wu Tai Presbyterian Church, a
stone plate house that is built in the traditional way and looks like how the Rukai
House looks like. Check in to the hotel and refresh. The rest of the day is free and
easy on your own. Overnight at Kaohsiung

Day 7
Kaohsiung – Taipei
Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. Today you will go to Taipei via bullet train. Your
luggage will be sent first beforehand. The bullet train will take 1.5 hour, enjoy the
journey, you will be then transferred from Taipei Main Station.
